Hamburger Steak & Onions

Ingredients

2 pounds – Ground Beef 

1 Tbsp – Minced Garlic

Pink Himalayan Salt –

to your taste

Black Pepper – to your taste

1 Tbsp – Olive Oil ( you

can use coconut or

avocado oil instead )

1 Tbsp – Dried Oregano

1 Cup – Beef Broth

3 Tbsp – Organic Red

Wine Vinegar

1 Small / Medium – Red

Onion, chopped

Instructions

  1. Place oven rack to the center of the oven.
  2.  Pre-heat your oven to 375*F
  3. In a small bowl combine the following ingredients: oregano, garlic, red wine vinegar, beef broth and olive oil. (You could also use avocado or coconut oil. Or you can leave out the oil completely.) 
  4. Mix until combined and set aside.
  5. Season the ground beef with salt and pepper to your taste. 
  6. Pour your mixture over the beef and massage these spices into your ground beef.  
  7. Shape the beef into patties and transfer them to a baking dish.
  8. Spread the onions on top of the patties.
  9. Bake for 35-45 minutes. Check at 35 minutes as all ovens are calibrated differently.
  10. Enjoy!

Tips / Suggestions

  • Try this over mashed cauliflower or cauliflower rice.
  • I enjoy this with my marinated summer squash and arugula salad!
  • You could also turn the natural juices from the meat into gravy! SOOO YUMMY!
