Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Ingredients

with Coconut Oil

27 (approximately)

Fresh Strawberries

1/2 cup —60%

Ghirardeli dark

chocolate Chips

1 tsp —vanilla

2 Tbsp —Organic

unrefined expeller

pressed coconut oil

without Coconut Oil

1 tsp —vanilla extract 

Instructions with Coconut Oil

  1. Melt the chocolate chips with the coconut oil. I melt them in the microwave for 20 seconds at a time. Stirring after each time.
  2. Once melted add the vanilla and stir.
  3. Rinse and pat dry the strawberries. I try to do this at least 20 minutes ahead so that the strawberries are dry.
  4. You can either leave the stems on the strawberry or take them off. I have done it both ways. You can also cut the strawberry in half. Just trying to give you options.
  5. I used a fork to dip the strawberries and then transfer them to a baking sheet that is lined with parchment paper.
  6. Freeze for 10 minutes and VIOALA!
  7. Must keep refrigerated
